Celebrate Your Progress!

Celebrate Your Progress!

Keep a written account of your progress.

Set financial goals. This will help increase your savings and give you peace of mind and less stress over money issues. Progress may seem very slow at first, especially if the debt load is very large. But it’s a great feeling to whittle away at that list of creditors!

I am a big fan of writing down goals for money and requests to God. The reason for this doesn’t purely revolve around focus and being organised. If we don’t write down specific goals then it’s harder to absolutely attribute the amazing answer or provision to God. These “guideposts” of provision become the faith grounding in our prayers as we call on the “God who provided for my education costs”, the “God who paid my hospital bills of $5,000 last year” etc etc
